信的标题是A call to action（行动的号召），发信人是President Barack Obama（奥巴马总统）。

 

在信里，奥巴马说，这个早上，他在这个震撼人心并使人为之谦卑的消息中醒来。很坦诚地说，他觉得他自己并不能胜任这个奖项。但是他也知道，根据诺贝尔和平奖的历史，这个奖也是作为一系列奋斗目标推动力的一种手段而来的。

 

所以，他将以“行动的号召”这样一个意义来接受这个奖，而这个号召，是针对所有国家、所有人民一起面对21世纪共同的挑战产生的。

 

不用质疑这封信的真实度，这的确就是奥巴马给我的来信。

 

至于为什么能收到这样的信，首先得让我们回到去年奥巴马还在竞选总统的时候。

 

EB先生是美国工会劳工法律顾问主任，他在去年大选的时候是纯粹的奥巴马支持者，他跟我一样，时不时收到奥巴马的邮件。而我们能收到邮件的同一个原因，无非就是我们在奥巴马的竞选网站上留下了自己的邮箱。

 

在在去年大选的时候，EB先生帮助奥巴马动员那些蓝领工人。一般而言，工会是竞选者都要争取的很重要的力量，而能获得工会的帮助，对总统候选人更是相当有利的。然而，当他们工会去年与奥巴马接上头的时候，出乎意料，奥巴马的竞选团队跟他们说，你们什么也不用做，让我们自己来。于是，奥巴马的团队靠着他们自己，掀起了工人们对奥巴马的支持高潮。

 

更让B先生对奥巴马死心塌地的支持的是，跟历任的总统不同，奥巴马的竞选团队并没有在奥巴马入主白宫后也收拾包裹随着进驻，而是依旧保留原来这种状态，独立于白宫之外跟民众、奥巴马的支持者继续保持联系。

 

唯一变化的是，竞选团队跟民众联系的内容，从竞选中宣传奥巴马的竞选口号，号召民众为奥巴马进行小额捐款，变为解释奥巴马的施政计划，为奥巴马的施政方针寻求更多的支持，或者节假日以及特殊事件奥巴马对民众的解释或感谢等等……

 

回过头来看奥巴马这次获得诺贝尔奖的报道，媒体里面除了对他正面的评价，也有对其恶意的揣度，还有些媒体的评价是奥巴马人缘太好了，以至于让诺贝尔这么破例。

 

的却，奥巴马的人缘确实好得有些让人难以置信。他是一个靠着民众小额的5块、10块的捐款获得了总额比希拉里拉到的大财阀的捐款总额更多的一位候选人；华盛顿的大街小巷摆卖的奥巴马的纪念品从T恤、徽章、公仔、卡片到冰箱贴，五花八门无奇不有；甚至在连时尚界也不放过他们，将奥巴马一家的服装作为时尚的领潮者等等……

 

不过，不要忘了，奥巴马这么好的人缘，除了他背后那个相当精良的竞选团队之外，还有那么多的支持他的民众。

 

就像奥巴马在获奖后说的，他是“谦卑”的以“行动的号召”来接受这个和平奖，为的是继续与所有的人民一起迎接未来的挑战。

 

他不是一个人在战斗。

This morning, Michelle and I awoke to some surprising and humbling news. At 6 a.m., we received word that I'd been awarded the Nobel Peace Prize for 2009.

To be honest, I do not feel that I deserve to be in the company of so many of the transformative figures who've been honored by this prize -- men and women who've inspired me and inspired the entire world through their courageous pursuit of peace.

But I also know that throughout history the Nobel Peace Prize has not just been used to honor specific achievement; it's also been used as a means to give momentum to a set of causes.

That is why I've said that I will accept this award as a call to action, a call for all nations and all peoples to confront the common challenges of the 21st century. These challenges won't all be met during my presidency, or even my lifetime. But I know these challenges can be met so long as it's recognized that they will not be met by one person or one nation alone.

This award -- and the call to action that comes with it -- does not belong simply to me or my administration; it belongs to all people around the world who have fought for justice and for peace. And most of all, it belongs to you, the men and women of America, who have dared to hope and have worked so hard to make our world a little better.

So today we humbly recommit to the important work that we've begun together. I'm grateful that you've stood with me thus far, and I'm honored to continue our vital work in the years to come.
