This is my Master program classmates' wedding in GZ. I have been looking forward to this day for a long time and was excited for the beautiful bride on this special day.
这是我硕士同学翠翠在广州的婚礼，从很久前我就开始期待在这特别的一天看到漂亮的新娘了。 The wedding was held in White Swan Hotel, the weather was comfortable, and you could see a little bit of sunshine. As we expected, the bride was absolutely beautiful and breathtaking that day, and the groom was handsome and cute. Lots of guests stayed late, and I saw many friends there. 婚礼时在白天鹅举行，当天的天气非常舒服，并且还有一点小阳光。当然，正如我们期待的，新娘非常美丽，简直可以夺走人们的呼吸，新郎也非常英俊和可爱。许多客人都呆了很久，并且我还碰到了以前的很多老朋友。 Thanks to CC for the special opportunity. 9/22/2009 秋天要来了么？The Fall Is Coming?
赶在秋分前，广州总算起了一点凉风。
早上去邮局领那跋山涉水漂洋过海还不能提前打开的包裹，一路上风和日丽的，难得的好天气。
阳光还是照样猛烈，蝉声还是照样嘶鸣，但是多了这习习的凉风，感觉就完全不同了。
于是心情愉快的欣赏地上斑驳的叶影，阳光打在红砖墙上给藤蔓扯长的影子，还有影子间掉落了一地的杨桃。
不知是好天气给了好心情还是好心情带来的好天气？ 9/18/2009 靓博Pretty Ph.D Candidate 亮博是我们PS博士点自开创以来，3届博士生中仅有的两位女性之一。（好吧，另外一位就是鄙人。）
亮博当年在未进入博士阶段的时候，就志向要做漂亮的女博士，坚决与传说中的“第三种人”拉开界限，要保持青春靓丽&走在时尚前头。
时隔多年，事实证明亮博不仅实践了当年的志愿，更加超越了当年的目标。
我们可以看到新一代女性的美丽动人，当然更是充满魅力和知性。

周末到深圳帮XH&YL拍了婚礼，这两位都是博士毕业的哦~结果司仪取笑说博士的婚礼也需要由博士来拍……哈哈
当然，身为新娘的XH非常的甜美，站在高大的YL身边更是楚楚动人，两人很是珠联璧合的一对。
先放上一些户外的婚纱照，解解馋吧~ 8/27/2009 Congratulations to Jonathan&Vivian 恭喜My good friend Jonathan proposed to my good friend Vivian yesterday, what a fantastic story! I just shot their lovely and cute engagement photos today. We started from 11:00 am and ended about 4:00 pm. The temperature was so high today, but we still had lots of fun. It was a long session, but the sweet couple was doing great! We had many wonderful pictures! Cannot wait to see their engagement pictures, so let's sneak a peek:
我的好朋友Jonathan昨晚向我的好朋友Vivian求婚了，真是太棒了！今天，我刚帮他们拍了非常可爱的订婚照。我们从早上11点开始一直拍到下午4点才结束。尽管天气很热，我们仍然很开心。在漫长的拍照过程，这对甜蜜的小两口的演绎无可挑剔！我们拍了许多很好的照片！让我们先睹为快：
   8/22/2009 杨桃季节Carambola Season8/14/2009 小镇的中医门诊Traditional Chinese Out-patient in Town打开那道拉闸门，小巷边上的中医门诊就开始了一天的经营。
When that gate is pulled, the traditional Chinese out-patient services is open for another day.
 清洁房间是他们每天必做的第一件事情。
Cleaning the room is the first thing they need to do everyday.
 药瓶药罐整整齐齐的放在他们该放的位置上。
Those bottles of Chinese medicine are in their own position where they are supposed to be.
 柜子上也清清楚楚的表明各种中药的名称。
Cabinets are clearly marked with all the name of the traditional Chinese medicine.
 传统的把脉在这里经久不衰。
Feeling a patient's pulse is a Chinese traditional method to diagnose illness, and it is still honored here.
 医生就在他的小桌上写下一张张药方。
The doctor is writing the prescription at his little desk.
 配药的地方在房子的另一边。一根木棍压住药方，然后称出每种药的需要克数，开始配药。
The place for dispensing chinese medicine is on another side of the room. The prescription is under a wooden stick, and they use a small steelyard to measure how much of those medicines they need.
 结算的时候，算盘也是必备的辅助工具。
An abacus is an essential tool when customers check out.
 小镇的中医门诊基本上门庭若市，偶尔空闲的时候，他们也会聊聊天，或者干脆望望外面打发时间。
Basically, the Chinese medicine out-patient in town is always full of patients. Occasionally when they can take a break, they will chat or just stay there and look outside to kill the time.
  后记：记得以前上郭老师公共政策课的时候，我们小组做了一个医疗的论文，其中提到的一项就是小地方的中医门诊对尚未完善的医疗保障体系的辅助作用。
Afterword: I remember when we took the Public Policy course taught by Dr.Guo, our group submitted a paper about Medical Insurance. And we mentioned that those Chinese traditional out-patients in town also served a supporting role for the developing medical security system in China. |
